honestly ray is such a good yandere just because he isn't the stereotypical lovestruck heart-eyed obvious blushing yandere 😭 like i know it's a very common trope for yanderes to also be manipulative but how ray acts so normal around mc makes it so much better because YOU, the player, are actually being manipulated. .. his yandere traits are waaay more actually hidden and not in a ybf or l4l way where "he acts super nice but suddenly flips!!" but like throughout the entire game he acts perfectly normal and there are literally only hints of this activity where mc says something is "strange" or they "can't quite place it/why" that you have to complete the game to understand most of the time.

obviously i'm excluding his rampage on the night crew but during that i only noticed ray's change in expression (cause he gets super mad) when double grabs mc's face for the first time during my 3RD PLAYTHROUGH .

It's understandable how i missed it though considering double is literally in your face + ray's sprite changes after like 2 lines of dialogue.. also also how he gets super suspicious after mc mentions the cat (haley) being in her apartment knowing full well that wasn't just any cat and he acts kind of upset about that too ..

...which just shows how subtle those traits are and how well they were integrated into his dialogue ohmygosh
